Dive watches

Dive watches are designed for underwater use. These watches feature water resistance gear that can withstand pressure at the equivalent of 100 meters (about 330 feet). And that is at a minimum. Modern technology allows these watches to go much deeper.

Dive watches are useful for keeping track of how long you’ve been underwater. If you are diving from a private boat, you will need to keep this information in mind. Furthermore, these watches often come equipped with additional technology such as a compass, which can be helpful.

Additionally, dive watches are one of the few pieces of scuba diving equipment that is useful out of the water as well. Some people will select a dive watch for the same reason they would select any other watch: for the style of it. And if you’re an interested diver who is already in the market for a new watch, a dive watch might be a way of conflating those two interests.
