Dive mask

A dive mask allows divers to see underwater. Anyone who has opened their eyes in even shallow water can tell you that this is important. When the human eye is exposed to water rather than air, it is unable to focus on light in the same way. Dive masks create a pocket of air so that the diver can see what is going on around him or her.

In addition to being essential for safety reasons, especially since some of the biggest benefits of diving are the visual world it opens up, it would be not just a danger but a shame to dive underwater and be unable to see clearly.

To get a proper fit, put the mask up to your face and stop when it is barely touching your face. Do not press the mask hard onto your face. Ideally the mask should touch all around your face at the same time. There should be no gaps between the skirt and your skin. Once you’ve positioned the mask, inhale. If the mask stays on, it might be a good fit. Try to avoid having any gaps between the mask and your face.
